Move freely - Sneak and explore around the dark and gritty medieval province and use the environment to your advantage - use your rope to grapple onto rooftops, silently drop from ceilings, or veil yourself in the shadows. She follows Shadwen on her dangerous journey, but when the ruthless guards get too close, Shadwen must take action right in front of Lily's eyes. Shadwen, an assassin on a quest to kill the king, has a chance encounter with an orphaned girl, Lily. It was released on Steam for Microsoft Windows, the Macintosh, the Steam operating system, and Linux on May 17, 2016. Sorry about the mess :|Īnd thank you for your feedback! I'll keep these things in mind next time I embark on a gossip-driven narrative voyage. What this boils down to is that if you want a clean new run if you want to play the game differently from your last playthrough, so you need to start the game with a fresh new save slot, but right now it copies the content of your old save slot to a new one.

I'll try to get Ella here to help you with that. You get those dialogues in earlier level loading screens if Lily has discovered that you're a killer in one of the later levels. It might be related to the save slot bug we discovered over the weekend. However, this is related to your offtopic question: I think you're doing really well putting all the pieces of the puzzle together :) If you play through the lethal way, the loading screens should give you all you need. Out of topic: When i did my "kill everything road" i never have lily/shadwen chat about how evil she was (that i saw on youtube), but i got the "here eat something" 3 times. The game is good, but some facts are too nebulous to me, Shadwen is here to kill the king for a bounty but if we don't kill him she said "i'm here for my reward" what reward? In my opinion she have some old score to settle with the king (even if they seems to not know each other on every ending) Was it Shadwen, the evil dark spirit angry about a king that burn her home? Originally posted by Ketana:Why do we have all those chats about dark spirit angry about the forest burnt by the king? And in one of them, there are rumors about a women beeing the center of why the king start that fire. The story is kinda blurry and I like the mistery about it and the teasing and eavesdropping on guards, but sometimes it's still a bit too blurry. And didn't pay Shadwen, and that's why Shadwen's coming for him.Īlso at some point I thought Shadwen lived in the forest and the king burnt everything to get rid of her but there something else witches and stuff so I don't know. My guess is that Gwydion hired Shadwen to kill his predecessor so he could take his place and rule the kingdom. Like some ghost sneaked through and killed him. OK I'm not really sure about the forest fire and the woman, I think it has something to do with the queen (or former queen, see next paragraph), at some point a guard says something like "where did he lock her up" and "I wonder what will happen to her".Īnyway, I think telling about dark spirits, especially in those ages, gave enough support for a tyran to do pretty much anything they wanted to do.Īs for the debt the King has with Shadwen, at some point in the story, the guards start to question the fact that "everybody was there" when the former king died, but "nobody saw it happen, especially the king's guard".
